Technical Design Assistant

Premier Brands Group Holdings, A Global Leader in Apparel, Jewelry and Accessories Design Premier Brands Group Holdings has a great opportunity for a Technical Design Assistant. This role works with the technical design team to maintain the flow of information between factories and internal departments. The position must be able to perform basic tech design related tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Key Focus Entry-level support role assisting the Technical Design team with daily operational and fit-related responsibilities Exposure to fittings, tech packs, garment construction, specs, and PLM systems Strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn technical design processes Core Responsibilities Prepare fit samples and organize fittings Take fit notes and assist with fit comments under supervision Support tech pack creation including measurements and construction details Maintain sample organization and assist with workflow coordination between Design and ProductionLearn and support department timelines and systems Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Design, Patternmaking, or related field Internship or prior exposure to technical design preferred Basic understanding of garment construction and fit Familiarity with Excel, Illustrator, and PLM preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Salary Range: $55K- $60K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
