About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Global Sales Engineering to lead the Sales Engineering organization in alignment with the company's go-to-market strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing market and customer intelligence to the product organization, driving technical excellence, and ensuring solution outcomes and enablement for customers and channel partners. This role requires a leader with a strong background in strategic and tactical sales engineering management, particularly in the technology enterprise software sector, and a proven track record in consultative solution selling. The VP will also be accountable for field readiness programs, operational excellence, and continuous leadership efforts to develop and motivate the sales engineering teams. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 5 years of global sales engineering leadership experience, with a focus on growing and evolving teams into top performers. The role demands a hands-on, lead-from-the-front style, and the ability to communicate the value of the company's platform and solutions. Experience in security software is preferred, and the ideal candidate will have a history of leading globally dispersed teams and a strong background in transformation within start-up or growth companies. The VP will be expected to work closely with regional sales and sales engineering leaders, as well as with partners, to identify, support, and close opportunities, while ensuring that the company's solutions are effectively represented and understood.
