We also offer company-provided short-term disability, an employee assistance program, and a wellness program.**Position Overview:** The Paralegal assists counsel with many case management duties and other office related tasks. **Job Responsibilities:*** Draft memos, pleadings, correspondence, subpoenas, discovery, and various legal documents.* Analyze and redline contract terms and add any special provisions, terms, and conditions to the contract.* Perform administrative duties such as managing calendars, organizing case files, managing logistics, processing mail, taking notes, etc.* Conduct legal research and analyze law sources to prepare documents for use by attorney.* Perform deposition responsibilities, including but not limited to, preparing notice of deposition, determining availability, and making arrangements.* Review, revise and approve legal documents.* Coordinate requests between multiple parties involved in litigation by way of consistent communication.**Qualifications and Skills:*** Associate degree in Paralegal studies, preferred.* 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or equivalent experience.* Notary public certification preferred.* Experience in Legal, Financial Services, Real Estate, and/or Mortgage industries preferred.* Experience with Legal software.* Excellent deposition techniques.* Excellent note taking skills.* Excellent analytical skills.* Excellent organizational and time management skills.* Excellent communication skills.* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT.This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
