Associate - Corporate Finance - Healthcare Transaction Advisory (Experienced Hire)

We do Consulting Differently The BRG Transaction Advisory practice is seeking professionals to meet client and market opportunities. The ideal candidate will work in a team‑oriented environment on a diverse range of transaction advisory assignments. Articulating findings and recommendations on key financial and business issues as well as value drivers is critical. Key Skills Financial Statement Review and Reconciliations Quality of Earnings Quality of Net Working Capital Business and Transactional Performance Responsibilities Support day‑to‑day activities of BRG’s Corporate Finance – Transaction Advisory client service teams executing buy‑side and sell‑side diligence engagements. Delegate, supervise, and lead engagement activities consistently and balanced. Use business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to perform tasks including quality of earnings, financial trend analysis, working‑capital trending, benchmark analyses, financial statement review, and business plan assessments. Collaborate with TA and BRG experts, professionals from other firms, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives. Lead preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables. Participate in developing the practice, including marketing, client pitches, and product/practice development. Demonstrate professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity. Identify issues for purchase‑price adjustments and provide deal‑structuring insights. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus). 1 to 3 years of prior work experience, ideally in consulting or professional services. Interest and knowledge of the healthcare finance industry. Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills. Desire and ability to manage processes and staff. Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to interact with senior management. Ability to work independently on smaller transactions. Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed. Preferred Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with big‑data analysis, data visualization, and/or business intelligence tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work demands. Understanding of legal documents and complex agreements. Familiarity with financial research tools such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg. Depth of knowledge of industry players, key drivers, and current trends. Candidate must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided. Salary Range: $65,000 to $110,000 per year.
