The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals on valuations, financial analyses, due diligence, and the execution of M&A transactions. The Associate will gain meaningful exposure to both sell-side and buy-side advisory assignments across public/private companies within the healthcare sector.Responsibilities:Preparing client presentations, drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, preparing management and board presentations and other materials for senior bankers as requiredTransaction execution involving direct client interaction and communicationCoordinate and perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactionsConducting extensive financial modeling and valuationSupport new business and marketing initiatives as appropriateAssessing industry research and trendsTraining and mentoring Analysts on the teamQualifications:Experience in M&A investment banking, preferably Healthcare focusedStrong Microsoft Excel skills essentialDemonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysisStrong verbal and written communication skillsElevated attention to detail and consistency in work productHigh degree of maturity, integrity, demonstrated leadership skills and work ethicOrganized and proactiveDealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg and MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferredSIE, Series 63, 79 FINRA registrations required at the time of hiring or shortly thereafterCompensation:For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 at the time of this posting.
