Returns Associate

About the Role The Customer Returns Coordinator will be responsible for checking and entering all customer returns into the system, ensuring accurate processing and inventory management. This role involves receiving and inspecting returned goods, verifying return authorizations, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining the returns area. Responsibilities Receive and inspect returned goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Verify return authorization and documentation. Work with vendors on any questions or missing return authorizations. Record return transactions in inventory or ERP systems. Provide the vendor with all necessary details for input into their system. Sort and categorize items for restocking, disposal, or repair. Communicate with customer service and warehouse teams regarding return issues. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the returns area. Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. At least 6 months of relevant work experience (preferred). Ability to listen and seek clarification. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and ability to report unsafe conditions. Accuracy and thoroughness in data entry. Knowledge of reprocessing work. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines. Dependable, punctual, and reliable. Good interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs frequently. Bending, stooping, or kneeling required frequently. Routine standing for approximately 8 hours per day. Use of pallet jacks, push carts, and other equipment. Use of hands, arms, feet and legs required. Remote work not applicable; occasional travel within and outside the U.S. may be required.
