About the Team
The DaaS (Decisioning as a Service) organization in Card is critical to growing the Card business at Capital One. This Director of Product Management role will define the strategy and lead the execution of our Customer Experience platform domain. You will build and manage a team of product managers to deliver seamless personalized application experiences for millions of customers. Sitting at the intersection of multiple business segments you will partner with senior leaders across the Card organization to identify horizontal value for Capital One Acquisitions and build scalable architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Strategy: Own the E2E target state for our platforms that power our customer experiences. Define and execute the roadmap for personalized and frictionless applications

Lead People: Build coach and manage a high-performing team of product managers. Act as a strong people leader who removes blockers and drives clear accountability

Scale Platforms: Consolidate disparate monthly requests into horizontal capabilities that solve core business problems for multiple segments simultaneously

Optimize Operations: Maintain platform resilience and operational efficiency to accelerate value delivery and speed-to-market

Deliver Strategic Initiatives: Lead complex multi-system growth initiatives including Capital Ones application prefill agenda dynamic routing and real-time identity capabilities

Partner Cross-Functionally: Align with senior leaders across Card Engineering and Design to prioritize and solve core platform challenges

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in any field and at least 5 years of Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago IL: $209500 - $239100 for Director Product Management

McLean VA: $230400 - $263000 for Director Product Management

New York NY: $251400 - $286900 for Director Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
