Vascular Surgeon

Staten Island University Hospital- Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to join its faculty. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with strong leadership qualities to contribute to the development of a growing vascular practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and technical skills, a collaborative approach to patient care, and a passion for providing the full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular surgical procedures.Practice InfoStaten Island University Hospital (SIUH) is a 714-bed teaching hospital with two campuses.The North campus houses Staten Island's most modern emergency department, a Level 1 trauma center with 36 ICU beds, a state-of-the-art education center, and a medical arts pavilion.The South campus has its own emergency department and offers specialty programs including geriatric psychiatry, behavioral health, and substance abuse services.The Department of Surgery at SIUH consists of 40 full-time and 6 part-time Physicians across various surgical disciplines.Northwell Health is New York State's largest private employer and one of the nation's largest healthcare systems, with 28 hospitals and a network of 14,500 providers.ResponsibilitiesProvide in-patient care for a wide array of vascular surgery patients.Provide out-patient care for a wide array of vascular surgery patients.Provide the full spectrum of elective vascular surgical procedures.Provide the full spectrum of emergency vascular surgical procedures.CompensationFull-time clinical base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $750,000.Sign-On Bonus.BenefitsEligible employees will receive 100% employer-paid tuition expenses towards a master's degree from Hofstra University.Those attending another university will receive $5,000 annually in reimbursement toward qualified tuition expenses.Northwell Health is a nonprofit, making us a qualifier for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF) under federal student aid.RequirementsFellowship-trained vascular surgeon.Possess excellent clinical and technical skills.Take a collaborative approach to patient care.Possess strong leadership qualities.Have an interest in providing the full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular surgical procedures.Possess excellent surgical skills.Possess clinical judgment.Have a passion for patient care.BE/BC vascular surgeon.
