Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures per unit protocols, including accurate patient positioning and parameter adjustment.
- Prepare patients for CT exams, verify imaging orders, and assess patient condition to ensure safe, effective imaging.
- Operate CT scanner, optimize image quality, document exam details, and manage contrast administration per policy.
- Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles; conduct routine equipment checks and troubleshoot as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to scan trauma patients independently and collaborate with the radiology team; document findings in the EPIC EMR.

Requirements
- ARRT CT Certification/Verification required
- VT license: must apply for VT license at time of offer
- BLS Certification required
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Prior CT experience in a similar-sized teaching facility
- Must be able to start peripheral IVs (PIVs) if required
