Job Description

Job Summary:

CT Tech provides high-quality computed tomography imaging to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The role requires independent trauma scanning capabilities, strong IV access skills, and current electronic medical record proficiency.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans with a focus on safety, accuracy, and patient comfort.
Complete trauma imaging independently according to established protocols.
Start peripheral IVs (PIVs) prior to contrast administration when required.
Operate CT equipment and associated technology while maintaining proper documentation.
Maintain compliance with imaging standards, radiation safety, and infection control practices.
Utilize Epic within the required timeframe to enter orders, document exams, and support workflow.
Qualifications:
Hold ARRT certification and maintain eligibility for ongoing professional requirements.
Apply for and obtain Vermont licensure at the time of offer (as required).
Demonstrate Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable).
Provide prior CT experience in a facility with similar patient volume and teaching environment expectations.
Exhibit proficiency starting PIVs, with the ability to perform independently.
Prefer Phillips experience and demonstrate readiness for trauma-focused imaging workflows.
