Job SummaryResponsible for assisting in the planning, execution and successful operation of all promotions. This position shall work closely with all operational departments to ensure the timely and organized execution of events. Promote a fun and friendly environment that creates excitement for external and internal guests by utilizing the principles of Family Style Service.How You Will Create the ExtraordinaryHOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARYProvide superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.Responsible for deploying promotions and interacting guests, which includes making live announcements and assisting in the completion of prize formsOrganize and plan event descriptions, timelines, and all other planning documents for customer eventsDisseminating information to all involved departments in a timely manner about customer eventsSetup of all systems and controls necessary for customer events including, but not limited to, CMS and event guidelinesCommunicating about customer events in a timely manner to all operations departmentsCommunicating and documenting all costs on analytical worksheetsEntering purchase requisitions for all supplies and décor items necessary for the deployment of promotionsDeploy events within the guidelines for proper safety and security.Maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality in all actions and duties.Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change.Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.What You Will NeedWHAT YOU WILL NEEDMust be 21 years of age or olderProficient in English verbal and writtenFlexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.Three to five years' experience in sales or marketing, and/or a 4-year degree in a related field of equivalent work experience preferred.Gaming industry experience is strongly preferred.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to push and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds.Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitivelySafely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipmentAscend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended periodMust be able to work from a standing or sitting position and/or walking motion for extended periodAbility to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environmentJob InfoJob Identification 88888Job Category Sales and MarketingJob Schedule Full timeLocations Harrah's Pompano Beach (On-site)
