Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Apply Evidence-Based Practice: Implement therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Family Members: Instruct patients and their families on effective therapy techniques to encourage sustained progress at home
• Document and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients are achieving their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education and post-grad certifications welcomed and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
