Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them pursue their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily life skills
• Engage in Team Collaboration: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy approaches to ensure continued progress outside the clinical environment
• Document Progress: Monitor clinical successes and modify treatments when necessary, assuring patients remain on the right path

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing learning and advanced certifications encouraged and embraced

Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license up to date
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
