Job Responsibilities

Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and devise personalized therapy strategies to help them accomplish their functional objectives
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based methods to boost patients' skills, cognitive abilities, and daily task performance
Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide integrated, comprehensive care
Educate Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families on therapy methods to ensure continued progress outside the clinical environment
Assess and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient care
Educational Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Required Certifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
