Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process for our U.S. offline retail channels, including mass retailers, specialty stores, supermarkets, and distributors. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, coordinating warehouse and transportation operations, managing third-party logistics providers, improving operational processes, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. The Logistics Manager will work closely with sales, finance, IT, warehouse, and logistics partners to deliver a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities Order Management and Fulfillment Manage the end-to-end order fulfillment process for U.S. offline retail accounts. Receive and review customer purchase orders to ensure product, quantity, pricing, shipping, and delivery information is complete and accurate. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to develop and execute fulfillment plans. Monitor order progress from receipt through final delivery and proactively identify potential risks or delays. Manage order changes, cancellations, rush requests, shortages, and other fulfillment exceptions. Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides, labeling standards, shipping requirements, and delivery deadlines. Oversee order processing through EDI platforms, retailer vendor portals, ERP systems, and WMS platforms. Logistics and 3PL Management Select, evaluate, and manage third-party logistics providers, carriers, and warehouse partners. Coordinate transportation arrangements and monitor in-transit shipments. Optimize transportation methods, delivery routes, and shipping costs while maintaining service requirements. Monitor carrier and 3PL performance and address service or operational issues. Resolve transportation exceptions, including delays, damages, shortages, lost shipments, rejected deliveries, and appointment issues. Manage escalations with warehouses, carriers, logistics providers, customers, and internal stakeholders. Review logistics invoices and support the resolution of billing discrepancies as needed. Process Improvement and Reporting Analyze order fulfillment, inventory, transportation, and delivery data to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. Develop, implement, and continuously improve order management and logistics workflows. Establish and maintain SOPs for order processing, warehouse coordination, shipping, exception management, and retailer compliance. Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs, fulfillment errors, delivery delays, operational inefficiencies, and retailer chargebacks. Prepare regular operational reports and provide recommendations to management. Partner with IT and operations teams to improve EDI, ERP, WMS, and reporting processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements, order priorities, and delivery expectations. Coordinate with finance teams regarding payment terms, invoicing, deductions, chargebacks, and settlement matters. Work with warehouse and inventory teams to address product availability, inventory allocation, and inventory discrepancies. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system issues and optimize EDI, ERP, and WMS workflows. Communicate order status, risks, and escalations clearly and promptly to customers and internal stakeholders. Support customer service and account management teams in resolving order fulfillment concerns. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience managing orders or logistics operations for U.S. offline retail channels. Experience working with major U.S. retailers such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Kohl’s, Belk, or similar accounts is preferred. Hands-on experience with retailer EDI systems, vendor portals, routing guides, ASNs, and compliance requirements is strongly preferred. Experience using ERP and WMS platforms to manage orders, inventory, and fulfillment activities. Demonstrated experience managing 3PL providers, warehouses, carriers, and transportation partners. Experience analyzing logistics costs, fulfillment performance, and operational data. Proven ability to develop SOPs and lead process improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of order fulfillment, inventory management, transportation, and retail compliance. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex operational issues in a high-volume environment. Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Experience in the home textiles or customized products industry is preferred.
