Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist

Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Duties Provides analytical and advisory information on the effectiveness and efficiency of technical and quality management. Provides assistance to the Navy Engineering and Quality Assurance groups for all technical issues, to include drawings, critical item determination, and Bills of Material. Monitors the supply chain actions performed by Product Specialists in order to provide effective and efficient material management support for assigned production efforts. Maintains cross‑agency relationships and ensures quality assets are available for issue when required and to alleviate material work stoppages. Serves as customer advocate and liaison for coordination of material technical and quality issues. Creates policy and coordinates with Business Process Analysts in the establishment of work instructions for quality and technical processes. Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. Tour of Duty: Set Schedule (0600-1430). Security Requirements: Non‑Critical Sensitive. Qualifications To qualify for a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support experience that includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work through National Service programs and other organizations. Experience is credited equally whether it is paid or volunteer. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position. For GS‑12 level, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Experience initiating and managing studies and coordinating projects regarding and affecting Retail Support plans and goals. Providing assistance to Navy Engineering and Quality Assurance groups for technical issues, to include drawings and Bill of Material. Experience with developing regulations, legislation, methods, and techniques used in technical/quality processes. Performing advanced analytical principles and techniques to analyze trends and conditions affecting branch activities.
