Aquarium Sales Associate

Aquarium Department Position

Do you have a passion for aquariums and a solid understanding of fishkeeping? We're looking for a dependable, knowledgeable individual to join our Aquarium Department. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on aquarium experience who enjoys working with both livestock and customers. You'll play an important role in maintaining healthy fish systems while helping customers make informed decisions for their aquariums.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain freshwater and saltwater aquarium systems.
• Care for live fish, corals, and aquatic livestock.
• Perform routine tank maintenance and water changes.
• Test water quality and monitor livestock health.
• Assist customers with livestock selection and aquarium care.
• Receive and acclimate new livestock shipments.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Qualifications:

• Base knowledge of freshwater and/or saltwater aquariums is required.
• Ability to identify common fish species and understand their care requirements.
• Friendly, professional customer service skills.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Retail experience is a plus, but not required.
