About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its counseling center, which provides essential mental health services to a diverse community. The successful candidate will be a highly relational and clinically credible leader, with a strong background in active clinical practice and supervision, and a deep commitment to student development and training. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic, clinical, and administrative leadership, ensuring the center effectively serves both the local community and the broader region. This role also involves supporting the clinical training of psychology trainees at the master's and doctoral levels. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's counseling center should have a background in clinical psychology or a related field, with a focus on student well-being and development. The role requires a leader who can provide a vision for the center's services, including individual and group therapy, and who is adept at partnering with other departments to support the community. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar leadership role, with a proven track record of managing a team of clinicians and supporting their professional growth. A strong understanding of the diverse mental health needs of the community, including those related to family, marital, and substance abuse issues, is essential. The Executive Director will also be involved in the strategic planning and crisis management of the center, and must be able to engage effectively with donors and the board.
