Job Title Senior Accountant Position Overview We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting for a variety of clients. While there is some involvement in transactional accounting, this position is primarily focused on higher-level responsibilities such as general ledger analysis, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. If you enjoy digging into the details, solving problems, and producing meaningful financial insights, this role offers strong exposure and growth in a client‑facing environment. What You’ll Do Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets Analyze and maintain the integrity of the general ledger Prepare and post monthly journal entries Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processesli> Support financial reporting, including consolidations where applicable Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records Collaborate with internal team members to troubleshoot and improve processes What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required) 5+ years of accounting experience Experience with QuickBooks is preferred Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills High attention to detail and organization Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Comfort interacting with clients via phone, email, and in person A strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality work Positive, solutions‑oriented attitude with openness to feedback and a continuous improvement mindset Why Join Jones Square?
