Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough and thoughtful mental health assessments to identify the needs of each patient, ensuring accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment strategies. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to support individuals, couples, and families in overcoming their challenges. Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster a sense of community, allowing clients to connect with peers sharing similar experiences. Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment plan that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being. Provide immediate assistance through crisis intervention for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring they receive the support they need when they need it most. Educate clients about their specific mental health conditions, potential treatment avenues, and available community resources that can further assist them in their journey toward wellness. Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client care in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to stay informed about the latest research and advancements within the mental health field. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other related disorders. Qualifications A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Florida. Strong comprehension of mental health disorders and a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Demonstrated ability in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing effective, personalized treatment plans. Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to a broad spectrum of clients. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, facilitating effective therapeutic interactions. Sound judgment with an unwavering adherence to professional ethics and boundaries. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology for telehealth services.
