Role Description The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will provide individual and, when appropriate, couples or family therapy to clients in an on-site setting in Tampa, FL. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and delivering EMDR and other evidence-based interventions. The counselor will monitor client progress, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and collaborate with other providers as needed to coordinate care. Additional duties may include participating in case consultations, contributing to program development, and engaging in ongoing professional training. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires consistent availability during scheduled client hours. Qualifications Strong foundation in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge to diverse client populations. Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Case Management, including assessment, goal setting, and ongoing care coordination. Experience or interest in Relationship Counseling, with skills in supporting couples and families through relational challenges. Current independent licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent) in the state of Florida, in good standing. EMDR training required; EMDR certification or willingness to pursue advanced EMDR training is highly beneficial. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with a commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care. Ability to work on-site full time in Tampa, FL, manage a consistent caseload, and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
