Quality Control Group Leader - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities Guide, instruct, and communicate assigned work to employees in the department. Monitor group quality and performance, ensuring consistent compliance with work instructions and data card requirements. Assist the Operations Leader in planning efficient and profitable personnel utilization. Maintain workflow in line with established schedules. Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and in working condition. Assist in the administration of product quality, company policies, and safety programs. Maintain required paperwork for the department and keep the Operations Leader informed of any operational difficulties. Provide constructive recommendations to eliminate operational issues. Assist workers with work‑related problems, including quality issues. Identify and communicate employee training needs; provide training as necessary. Provide input on quality, safety, performance appraisals, productivity, potential discipline, and reward & recognition. Perform classification responsibilities and other related group leader duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 5 years of Metem experience and/or 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting. Basic computer skills (email). Ability to work the 2nd shift (2 pm-10 pm). Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Good communication skills and ability to follow written instructions and give verbal instructions for multiple tasks in a manufacturing shop environment. Demonstrated knowledge of quality, safety, shop computer systems, and shop support requirements. Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shift. Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
