Cost Accountant Manufacturing

We are looking for a Cost Accountant that has experiencewithin a manufacturing environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2-5years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and/or QuickBooks Online
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and inventory accounting
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
• Long-term stability with a growing manufacturing organization

Responsibilities:

• This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within metal fabrication who enjoys improving processes strengthening controls and partnering with leadership
• Prepare and review journal entries general ledger reconciliations and monthly financial statements
• Manage accurate and timely month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Maintain analyze and improve accounting records and financial reports
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare cash flow reports
• Implement rules-based automation for accounting systems bank reconciliations and approvals
• Review enhance and maintain internal controls for AR AP Payroll Inventory and Purchasing
• Review and maintain the Chart of Accounts and implement company-wide accounting processes
• Prepare and submit tax filings including sales/use tax and corporate income tax returns
• Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies trends and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with management to support operational and financial decision-making
