Sunvilla Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and accurate financial reporting. Sunvilla specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of outdoor furniture, combining quality and innovative design to create durable, stylish, and comfortable outdoor living solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with accounting management and gain exposure to the full accounting cycle, including account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, period-end close, and financial reporting. You will manage assigned responsibilities independently, investigate discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly.

Your Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and journal entries, perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations, and maintain organized supporting documentation.

• Complete assigned month-end and year-end close tasks and prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting and audit requests.

• Manage assigned accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate processing and timely follow-up on outstanding items.

• Respond to vendor and management inquiries and prepare requested reports and analyses.

• Review operating expenditures, investigate discrepancies, and communicate unresolved issues to accounting management.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum of One year of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.

• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables, as well as Microsoft Word and Outlook.

• QuickBooks experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow assignments through to completion.

• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus, but not required.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
