Snapshot / Role Overview
We're looking for a Sheet Metal Estimator in the Chino area to produce accurate bids for HVAC and fabrication projects.
Impact
- Support growth with timely, precise estimates.
- Win work by matching bids to scope, specs, and cost targets.
- Reduce risk through clear takeoffs and scope analysis.
Responsibilities
- Create project estimates, quotes, and bid proposals.
- Interpret 3D models and plans to build accurate takeoffs.
- Coordinate with sales, estimating, and fabrication teams.
- Track estimate data and project risks.
- Keep bids and documentation current for sales and operations.
Must-Haves
- Three or more years in sheet metal fabrication.
- One or more years of sheet metal estimating.
- Local, stable work history.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience reading 3D models.
- HVAC or mechanical construction background.
- Exposure to bid tracking or estimating software.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience. Medical, dental, PTO, and holidays. Full-time, in the office in Chino, reporting to estimating and sales leadership.
