Direct Care Worker (DCW)Location: Reading, PA (Berks County) Company: Familiar Roads Home HealthcareJob SummaryFamiliar Roads Home Healthcare is hiring Direct Care Workers (DCWs) in Reading and surrounding areas of Berks County. We are seeking dependable, compassionate individuals who are committed to helping clients maintain independence and dignity in their homes through personal care and support services.Qualifications (Required)Applicants must meet the following Pennsylvania state and agency requirements:Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standardsCurrent CPR CertificationRecent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the past 12 months) — QuantiFERON-TB Gold or equivalent acceptedProof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) yearsTwo (2) Valid Professional ReferencesClear Criminal Background CheckAbility to speak, read, and write English proficientlyNeat appearance and practices good personal hygieneResponsibilitiesAssist with bathing, grooming, and dressingProvide toileting and hygiene supportPrepare meals and assist with feedingPerform light housekeeping dutiesSupport client mobility and safetyOffer medication reminders (non-clinical)Observe and report changes in condition to supervisorBenefitsFlexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, weekends)Weekly payPaid training and developmentSupportive work environmentSign-on bonus availableServe UPMC, Keystone First, and PA Health & Wellness clientsEqual Opportunity Employer StatementFamiliar Roads Home Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
