The Room Lead/Line Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on a manufacturing or assembly line, primarily within a food manufacturing environment. This role involves managing a medium-sized team of 11-20 members to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Room Lead serves as an essential link between the frontline workforce and upper management, focusing on team training, workflow optimization, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Although the decision-making authority is limited to execution, frequent communication with management supports smooth and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure targets are consistently met
• Maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process
• Manage, train, and develop team members to maximize performance and adherence to protocols
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and environmental guidelines
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Optimize workflows to enhance operational efficiency
• Communicate regularly with upper management to report status and escalate issues
