Lead Ultrasound Technologist

A leading academic healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Lead Ultrasound Technologist to provide operational and technical leadership within a specialized prenatal imaging and antenatal testing department.

This role offers the opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities while working alongside Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and a highly collaborative care team.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily operations within a specialized prenatal imaging department
Provide technical leadership and support to sonography staff
Perform advanced OB/GYN ultrasound examinations
Collaborate with physicians, Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, and clinical leadership
Ensure quality standards, workflow efficiency, and patient satisfaction
Assist with staff training, scheduling, and departmental initiatives

Job Requirements:

Associate degree or completion of a two-year allied health program in Ultrasound, Medical Sonography, Radiology, or equivalent military medical training
RDMS certification
At least 2 years of Level II OB/GYN ultrasound experience
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
