IT Senior Auditor (Federal Audit)

IT Senior Auditor (US - Alexandria, VA, Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN) Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented auditing professional with strong leadership and information technology skills. This role is contingent upon award of contract. The position requires an active interim Secret or Secret clearance or the ability to obtain this level of clearance. Position Summary Lead testing of IT controls, prepare work products, own assigned work areas, review work products prepared by team, provide guidance to less experienced resources, execute tasks in accordance with schedule, leverage technology and data analytics to increase efficiency, meet deadlines, and participate in training to grow competencies. Responsibilities Conduct testing to determine the effectiveness of IT controls. Prepare work products including workpapers, findings, reports, and other deliverables in accordance with auditing standards. Own assigned work areas and ensure timely completion. Review work products prepared by team members. Provide guidance to less experienced resources. Ensure tasks are completed according to internal schedule and client deadlines. Leverage technology, data analysis tools, and AI to increase audit efficiency. Meet attendance, punctuality, and company/client deadlines. Actively participate in formal and informal training. Demonstrate professionalism and competence in client environment. Foster an efficient, innovative, and team‑oriented work environment. Report audit findings and make recommendations to correct unsatisfactory conditions. Assist in drafting and preparing project deliverables. Utilize technology to share knowledge, develop skills, and continually learn. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Information Systems preferred. Minimum 3 years of auditing and/or related technical experience. Minimum interim Secret clearance required. CISA certification preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Servant Leader, Solutions Focus, Collaborative, Trustworthy, Impact & Influence Thinker characteristics. Salary Transparency The midpoint of the salary range for this role is $88,000. Final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location.
