Salary Range: $19.29 per hour + Commission starting at 60% and progressing to 75%

Position Summary:

Columbine Country Club seeks qualified candidates for part-time Fitness Pro positions. Fitness Pros play a vital role in engaging and instructing members on how to use cardio and fitness equipment properly. 

Fitness Pros will provide health and wellness advice, assist with equipment, enforce fitness center rules, and perform minor equipment repairs as needed. Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs; shift responsibilities may also include assisting with opening or closing procedures. 

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess strong collaboration skills, a customer-focused mindset, and an engaging personality. Excellent communication skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with club members. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for those pursuing personal training roles; current certification from a nationally recognized organization such as NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ACE, or another accredited personal training organization is mandatory.

• Conduct fitness orientations
• Personal training
• Develop exercise programs
• Maintain equipment
• Clean and organize facility
• Enforce club policies
• Deliver exceptional member service
• Maintain CPR certification

• Lift up to 75 – 100 pounds
• Stand for long periods
• Demonstrate exercises
• Assist members
• Bend
• Reach
• Move equipment

Compensation:

$19.29 per hour plus commission. Fitness Pros receive 60% commission on personal training services, increasing to 75% based on performance and tenure, with opportunities to earn up to 85% commission through monthly performance incentives. During required non-training duties, employees are compensated in accordance with applicable Colorado wage laws.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment with Columbine Country Club is contingent upon the successful completion of the Club's pre-employment process, which may include:

A criminal background check, conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. 

Verification of employment eligibility as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA). 

Verification of professional licenses and certifications required for the position.
