Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The Cardiac Cath Lab specialist position is located in Smyrna, Tennessee, within a community hospital setting. The role involves working with a dedicated team to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position offers a dynamic environment with advanced equipment and a focus on patient care and clinical excellence. Job Details Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. Start Date: 09/07/2026 Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab, community hospital or mixed Interventional Radiology and Catheterization Laboratory setting preferred. Must have Cath Lab experience, including diagnostic and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCIs). Required certifications include RN licensure, ARRT or RCIS. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced vascular and IR procedures, familiarity with specific interventional devices such as Rotablator, Shockwave, Impella, and IABP is advantageous. Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Candidate must have documentation experience with all monitoring, circulating, sedation (RN), and scrubbing (Tech). The unit uses Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech systems for documentation. Floating policies permit radiologic technologists with modality experience to float to imaging services and RNs to cover cardiology patients in non-invasive, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine.
