(USA) Operations Manager - Floor

Position Summary The Manager will drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production quality, safety, and operational improvements. They will forecast staffing and workload, analyze business reports to identify improvements, and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards. The role involves supervising associates and leaders, providing direction, monitoring performance, feedback, and training opportunities. Key Responsibilities Communicate verbally and in writing with individuals or groups (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands. Prepare, review, and analyze business reports and use information to identify operational improvements. Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others. Supervise and manage associates and leaders, give direction, monitor performance, provide feedback, identify training needs, offer learning and growth opportunities, hire, promote, coach, evaluate, and model policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management). 1 year of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion for multiple departments or areas. OR 1 year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising associates, managing associate workload, and participating in hiring and promotion of associates. OR 3 years of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion for multiple departments or areas. Completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments. Preferred Qualifications Financial modeling and analysis. Managing challenging workforce issues. Modeling/forecasting. Preparing and executing budgets. Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability. Supervising associates. Experience as a Walmart Logistics Manager. Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, or Operations Management. Benefits and Compensation Competitive base salary: $84,000.00 – $126,000.00 per year. Performance‑based bonus awards.
