Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary face of our front entrance and buyer pickup area, balancing a warm, customer-focused welcoming experience with strict safety and access control. You will manage guest check-ins, maintain front-door flow, and safeguard our facility, team members, and high-value inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Visitor & Client Management: Warmly greet clients, visitors, vendors, and staff at the front entrance and buyer pickup kiosk; manage badge issuance and direct guests.
• Access Control & Facility Safety: Monitor entry points, manage vehicle/personnel access, and conduct routine patrols of the facility.
• Surveillance & Incident Response: Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems; identify potential security risks and de-escalate situations professionally.
• Emergency Handling: Serve as a first responder for emergencies, applying First Aid/CPR or coordinating with emergency services (911) and local law enforcement as required.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Maintain daily activity logs, file incident reports, and communicate regularly with the Security Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years in customer-facing security, concierge, high-end retail, or front-desk hospitality preferred.
• Certifications: Ability to complete/obtain an OPOTC 20-Hour Basic Handgun Course ( training costs fully covered by EBTH ). First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
• Background Check: Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a comprehensive FBI/BCI background check.
• Skills: Excellent verbal communication, conflict de-escalation skills, and basic computer literacy for check-in software and security systems.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed throughout the shift.
• Availability: Reliable transportation and flexibility to work scheduled rotating Saturdays.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Local Cincinnati-area candidates only.
