Position Summary

The Assistant Manager is a leadership position responsible for supporting operations at Easy Like Sunday. This role primarily provides management coverage during the General Managers’ scheduled days off while helping ensure each restaurant operates efficiently and delivers an exceptional guest experience. The Assistant Manager is expected to be a hands-on leader willing to step into any Front of House position as business needs require. This includes working as a Host, Barista, Bartender, Expo, Food Runner, or any other position necessary to support the team. The ideal candidate leads by example, maintains high service standards, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

● Provide leadership and operational support during the General Managers’ scheduled days off.

● Assist in the day-to-day management

● Support and coach Front of House team members while maintaining company standards.

● Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.

● Assist with inventory management, ordering, and maintaining proper stock levels.

● Complete administrative tasks and operational reporting as assigned.

● Help train and develop new employees.

● Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health code standards throughout the restaurant.

● Work in any Front of House position when needed, including: ○ Host ○ Barista ○ Bartender ○ Expo ○ Food Runner ○ Cashier

● Answer phones professionally and assist guests with questions and orders.

● Manage multiple priorities while maintaining efficiency during busy service periods.

● Support staffing coverage and help ensure smooth daily operations.

● Perform other duties as assigned by company leadership. Qualifications

● High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is preferred.

● Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

● Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment is preferred.

● Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.

● Basic computer and math proficiency.

● Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.

● Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

● Flexible schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
