Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient RehabWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient rehabilitation unit. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing patient outcomes and achieving functional independence.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 35Patient Ratios: 5-7 patients per nurseStaffing Description: Techs available based on census, typically 2-4Type of Equipment: Vitals machines, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, bladder scannersDocumentation System: MeditechScheduling Requirements: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requiredFloating Policy: May be floated to other medical-surgical departmentsDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for:Administering medications, including IV therapy, PICC lines, and PEG tube managementConducting bladder scans and providing tracheostomy careOverseeing tube feeding and Foley catheter managementPerforming bladder irrigation and blood administrationQualificationsRequired:Experience in Medical-Surgical or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)Current BLS certificationActive Virginia nursing licensePreferred:Prior experience in rehabilitation nursingDress CodeApplicants are required to wear solid navy blue or white scrubs.Recognition and AwardsThe unit has received commendations for its commitment to rehabilitation and patient experience.
