PackerWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packer to join our operations team in Libertyville, IL. The Packer is responsible for accurately preparing, packing, and labeling products for shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires the ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.Packer Responsibilities:Pack, seal and label products according to company standards and customer specificationsInspect items for defects, quality issues or inconsistencies before packingAssemble boxes, containers and packaging materialsMaintain accurate counts of materials and finished goodsFollow safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques for items up to 50 lbsKeep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazardsAssist with inventory, stocking, and material movement as neededWork collaboratively with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to meet daily goalsRequirements for Packer:Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedlyStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic reading, writing, and math skillsAbility to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasksReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamPrevious warehouse, packing, or manufacturing experience preferredFamiliarity with shipping systems and labeling equipment is a plusBasic computer skillsIND019 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
