Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiology Opportunity - Grass Valley, CA

VeloSource has a Diagnostic Radiology Opportunity - Grass Valley, CA

• Looking for a Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography (biopsy) privileges
• Must maintain qualifications throughout the entire assignment which includes MQSA Standards for 960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months.
• Coverage Need: one week every other month for up to 6-9 months. The week will be determined by what the other physician is not working.
• Schedule & Shift time: Monday-Friday 8a-4p
• No call
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Duties: Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
• Required Procedures: Read Mammo, PET and perform breast biopsies
• Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, other support staff
• Have a radiologist on site for mammography 3 days/week.
• Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13/mo
• Screening Mammos: 225/mo
• Diagnostic Mammograms: 30/mo
• Board Certified [HIGHLY PREFERRED] or Board Eligible
• State License - CA [REQUIRED]
• Residency Requirements/Fellowship - Residency [REQUIRED] No specific fellowship. Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies
• Other Certifications - BLS/ACLS and DEA required during credentialing [REQUIRED]
• Malpractice - Clean [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
