Registered Nurse - General PCU

Role Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. Supports professional nursing practice across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards. Demonstrates leadership through mentoring, informal roles, and quality improvement initiatives. Delegates patient care based on skill, experience, acuity, and resources, and possesses excellent communication, teaching, and critical thinking skills. May participate in committees or projects and may be required to drive a personal vehicle. Qualifications Graduation from a nursing program with current RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification. One year of RN or LPN experience preferred. Must have strong communication skills, teamwork experience, and computer proficiency. Ability to work flexible hours, adapt to unpredictable situations, and demonstrate leadership. Additional Notes The role is eligible for TN sponsorship with required licensure and certification. Compensation ranges from $43.84 to $66.84 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, savings plans, and retirement. Full-time schedule with 12-hour day/night rotations, every other weekend, and every 3rd holiday.
