To provide Intensive In-community weekly therapeutic services for Children with Developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges! Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth &Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with D evelopmental and Intellectual Disabilities. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Therapists to provide In-home Intensive and In-Community Therapeutic services to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. Key Responsibilities Providing individual in-home therapy sessions or group therapy sessions in our outpatient center. Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression. Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges. Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family. Submit all required documentation within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, progress notes), etc. Attend monthly meetings and submit recommendations. Requirements Must have Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related fields as LSW, LAC, LFT. Must be available for minimum 5-10 hours per week during after school hours of 4-7 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus. Must have experience providing positive behavior supports. Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus. Must have Valid driver’s license, registered vehicle. Must pass criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting. Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with copy of NJ or Certification or License.
