Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours/day.
• Float to Medical/Surgical Units as needed, managing up to 4 or 5 patients when floated.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC EMR system.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Adult ICU experience required.
• 2 years of continuous work experience in one location, preferably a MICU.
• Must be able to read Tele Strips and demonstrate telemetry competency.
• Active Massachusetts RN License.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
