Job Description

Pride Health is hiring an Entry phlebotomist / PSR to support our client’s medical facility in Pensacola, FL . This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: ENTRY Phlebotomist / PSR

Location: Pensacola, FL 32514

Pay Rate: $17.80/hr. on W2.

Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30am-1:00pm, Can volunteer for Saturday shifts for phlebotomy coverage.

Duration: 3+ months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

\n
• Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming experience.
\n
• Assist patients with check-in using a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
\n
• Answer patient questions and explain the process clearly and compassionately.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional waiting area.
\n
• Support patients while they wait for their lab services.
\n
• Assist in the draw room when needed to cover phlebotomist breaks or staffing shortages.
\n
• Perform basic phlebotomy and specimen collection duties following established procedures.
\n
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
\n
• Protect patient confidentiality and ensure accurate patient information.
\n
• Follow safety and company procedures.
\n
• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude with patients, clients, and team members.
\n
• Be willing to learn new skills and grow within the company.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED.
\n
• 1–2 years of customer-facing experience – REQUIRED (retail, home health aide, healthcare, etc.).
\n
• Some phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED , including internship or externship experience.
\n
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
\n
• Basic keyboarding and data-entry skills.
\n
• Ability to work comfortably with patients and provide care and compassion.
\n
• Willingness to work both in the lobby and draw room as needed.
\n
