Program Manager

Overview Amentum is seeking a Program Manager in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Program Manager will drive strategic growth and lead critical programs within the Intelligence Community, leveraging deep IC knowledge and network to identify opportunities and position Amentum as a leading partner. This role offers P&L responsibility and the chance to significantly impact mission success. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with key IC customers to understand their needs and position Amentum as a leading solution provider. Develop and implement strategic growth plans for the IC customer area, anticipating market changes and shaping future requirements. Oversee the operational functioning and performance of a significant business sector within the IC. Lead the Intelligence group with full P&L accountability. Identify and capitalize on opportunities within the Intelligence Community by leveraging customer knowledge and relationships. Develop strategies for future market changes and identify growth opportunities. Create white papers to proactively identify customer needs and propose Amentum solutions. Develop a strategic growth plan for the IC customer area. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required (Master's preferred). Minimum ten (10) years of government contract/subcontract administration experience. Profit/loss responsibility experience. Thorough knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph. Ten or more years of experience working within the Intelligence Community customer organization. PMP certification required. Strong credibility and a developed network of relevant contacts within the IC. Deep understanding of the customer's operations, priorities, and goals, gained through direct experience within their organization. Broad understanding of the business environment surrounding the customer's operations and support services. Experienced leader with a creative and strategic approach to business development. Excellent communication, networking, and team‑building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
