Job Description AECOM is currently seeking talentedCivil Engineerwith experience in either site, roadway, municipal or airports. Also a background in lighting/signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation / protection, and pavement rehabilitation) to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa . The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Developing civil airfield design, municipal projects, site design and construction improvement documents Coordinating with planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects Performing civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of engineering and municipal projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitation Will be involved with projects from start to completion including planning, design, and construction administration, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans Collaborating and/or coordinating delivery teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians AutoCAD or MicroStation 3D modeling mentoring Supervise, coordinated, and production of several projects concurrently. Coordinate with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit Agencies Includes regular site visits during the design and construction phases of improvement projects throughout the United States Qualifications BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experienceor demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Candidates must be a US Citizen Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Design or Open Roads Designer Experience with civil site development or airfield design and construction EI or PE, preferably State of Iowa Additional Information Relocation is available for this position To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
