Configuration Manager

Senior Configuration ManagerThe Configuration Manager will be responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems. They will work on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems. The CM will implement discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life and perform change control and configuration audits.Responsibilities:Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and proceduresAssist in the use of configuration management tools (e.g. DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration itemsUnderstand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and proceduresUnderstand basic concepts, assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integrationAssist in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management process and proceduresImplement hardware and software version control processes, policies and proceduresUtilize configuration management tools to store, track and manage configuration itemsMaintain the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integrationApply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and proceduresDeveloper hardware and software control processes, policies and proceduresManage, maintain and develop the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integrationQualificationsRequired:Eight (8) years of experience as a Configuration Manager (CM) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityBachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or universityA Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6)Four (4) years of additional configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeTS/SCI Poly requiredDesired:Experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexityWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
