Venue Manager
$26 - $29 per hour VENUE MANAGER - Wedding & Events Location: Umatilla, FL
Employment: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $26–$29/hour + Overtime
Schedule: Approximately 40 hours/week; flexible based on weddings and events
Schedule Requirements: Weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Our client is hiring a Venue Manager to lead wedding and event sales while overseeing day-to-day venue operations. This newly created position combines client experience, team leadership, sales, and event operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, sales-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple clients, events, staff, and vendors in a fast-paced environment. JOB DUTIES
• Manage incoming wedding and event inquiries and follow up with prospective clients
• Conduct venue tours and present packages, services, availability, and venue information
• Guide prospective clients through the booking process and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
• Track inquiries, tours, conversion rates, bookings, and sales activity
• Build relationships with wedding planners, coordinators, and other industry professionals
• Supervise, train, coach, and schedule event staff
• Review upcoming events and coordinate staffing and operational needs
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
• Monitor event operations and proactively address client and guest needs
• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support successful events
• Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, organization, and service standards
• Identify maintenance or operational concerns and communicate them appropriately
• Support open houses, promotional events, and marketing activities
• Maintain accurate client, event, staffing, and sales information
• Utilize Asana, CRM systems, calendars, and other company tools
• Attend or lead venue team meetings as assigned
• Collaborate with Operations, Property Management, Accounting, Marketing, and other departments JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Strong sales and customer service skills with a results-oriented mindset
• Proven leadership and team-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain professional under pressure
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to maintain service and operational standards
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation or ability to live locally
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on event needs QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in wedding venues, hospitality, events, sales, or a related field preferred
• Experience managing or supervising event staff preferred
• Experience with Asana, CRM systems, or similar project-management and sales tools is a plus COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• $26–$29/hour (=$54k-$60k/yr plus OT)
• Overtime for hours worked over 40 hours/week in accordance with applicable law

• Venue is closed on Mondays
• Flexible schedule with pre-scheduled days off. Usually Sunday-Monday or Monday-Tuesday.
• Approximately 40 hours per week, with schedule varying based on business needs, client appointments, venue tours, weddings, and events
• May occasionally work at the St. Cloud administrative office for monthly team meetings
• The venue has a Sales Team. The Venue Manager will focus more on event & location management than outbound sales.
