Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate - Cancer Genomics and Therapeutics

Overview We are the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy, seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate to join our translational genomics and experimental therapeutics lab focused on acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Responsibilities Processing and analyzing clinical samples. Conduct cellular, molecular, and in vivo experiments for hypothesis-driven research. Perform computational and bioinformatic analyses. Prepare presentations and publish scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator. Qualifications Ph.D. with a successful publication record in scholarly journals. Proficient in routine molecular biology techniques for genomics/epigenomic studies and functional studies in cellular and mouse models. Hands‑on experience with high‑throughput assays and next‑generation sequencing‑based platforms, and preclinical studies using leukemia mouse models. Strong background in cancer biology, immunology and computational biology, bioinformatics, or biostatistics. Computational skills including experience with bioinformatic tools and packages, data mining for ‘omics’ datasets, or developing pipelines/software for large biological datasets.
