We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents integrated with an existing Microsoft Fabric environment. You will work across Microsoft Copilot technologies, OpenAI APIs to create scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions that automate workflows, surface insights, and enhance business operations. This role requires hands‑on experience with LLM orchestration, enterprise data integration, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and secure cloud‑based AI deployments. This is a temporary, full time position onsite in New York City 5 days a week. Role responsibilities Design and develop AI agents using: OpenAI APIs and Azure OpenAI Integrate AI agents with existing Microsoft Fabric infrastructure including: OneLake Power BI Data Factory Lakehouse environments Build multi-step agent workflows capable of: Data retrieval and reasoning Task automation Workflow orchestration Conversational interactions Document analysis and summarization Develop secure API integrations with enterprise systems and databases Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using enterprise data sources Create prompt engineering frameworks and reusable AI agent templates Optimize AI agent performance, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to identify AI automation opportunities Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained across AI deployments Must have qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Strong experience with: Microsoft Fabric OpenAI APIs Experience building AI agents and autonomous workflows Proficiency in: Python REST APIs JSON SQL Experience with: Vector databases and embeddings RAG implementations AI orchestration frameworks Familiarity with: Power Platform Power Automate Nice to have qualifications Experience deploying enterprise AI solutions at scale Understanding of data governance and AI security best practices Experience integrating AI into analytics and reporting environments Knowledge of M365 Copilot ecosystem Experience with multi-agent systems If you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply. The offered salary range is $75--110/HR hourly, depending on experience and location.
