Job Title

Registered Nurse – Comprehensive Medical Unit (4 West)

Location

Zanesville, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required | No Call Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Comprehensive Medical Unit with a primary focus on Medical-Surgical patients
• Float as needed between various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg Boarder units
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings for assigned patients
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes across night shift hours

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of current and recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret telemetry (competency will be assessed on day one)
• Current proficiency in Epic EMR — must be fully independent; on-site training or 1:1 orientation for Epic is not available

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple Med-Surg specialty areas such as Oncology, Stroke, or Cardiac units
• Prior travel nursing experience in a similar acute care setting
