Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Medical-Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required | No Call Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care primarily on a Respiratory unit, including care for infectious/isolation patients
• Float as needed across various Medical-Surgical units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarder assignments
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings accurately and consistently
• Document all patient care activities using Epic EMR with proficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of current and recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry (competency will be assessed on day one)
• Current proficiency in Epic EMR — must be fully independent; no refresher or on-site training will be provided

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for respiratory or pulmonary patient populations
• Familiarity with multi-unit float assignments across diverse Medical-Surgical specialties
