Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Aseptic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for washing glassware and medical components, performing aseptic cleaning and packaging, and maintaining aseptic samples in a cleanroom environment. The role requires adherence to GMP standards and involves monitoring process systems, performing preventative maintenance, and participating in safety committees.

Responsibilities

• Wash glassware and medical components using designated equipment.
• Work in an ISO-6 & 7 cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE.
• Perform aseptic cleaning and packaging of products.
• Maintain aseptic samples in compliance with GMP standards.
• Monitor process systems and equipment for proper operation.
• Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance tasks; assist maintenance team as needed.
• Participate in safety committees and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Accurately complete required documentation for all tasks.
• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect workstations before and after use.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Adapt to different processes depending on client/project assignments.

• 1-2 years of industry experience in pharmaceuticals or related fields

• Experience with CGMP and SOP
• Good documentation practices
• Basic computer skills for internal database usage

Work in an ISO level 6 & 7 cleanroom environment with gowning required for 6-10 hours at a time with breaks. This position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2pm to 10:30pm. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
